Sydney veteran Taylor Adams has already locked in his post-football plans, stepping into the finance sector given the "sad reality that footy doesn't last forever".
Adams, who has two seasons to run on his contract with the Swans, has joined South Melbourne mortgage broker Wellman Finance while also creating his own profile to assist with finance and property.
The 31-year-old confirmed his latest career move this week, having studied for an MBA in his plans for post-retirement.
"Knowing the sad reality that footy doesn't last forever, off-field pursuits have always been a high priority for me. Through my studying endeavours, most recently a Master of Business Administration specialising in Finance, and my love for property and property investment, I've taken the exciting next step by joining Wellman Finance," Adams wrote in a post to Instagram.
"I have been fortunate enough to personally experience the process of purchasing multiple properties with the assistance of Sean and the Wellman Finance team and am grateful for the opportunity to join the team.
"Gaining hands-on experience in mortgage broking while still playing is an exciting challenge, and I'm looking forward to helping you purchase your next property!

2025 will see Adams looking to break back into the Swans' senior side after falling out of favour late into last season.
The former Collingwood and GWS midfielder played 19 straight games in the red and white after starting his first year with Sydney on the sidelines, however a tough selection call meant the veteran would not feature in the club's run to the grand final.
The off-season exit of Luke Parker could open the door for Adams to secure his spot under new coach Dean Cox, with the Swans gearing up for another tilt at the title.
Adams featured in Friday's pre-season victory over GWS and will be in the mix for Sydney's next warm-up match against Gold Coast.
The Swans' 2025 campaign gets underway on Friday, March 7 with a home clash against Hawthorn at the SCG.
