Former Adelaide Crows player Mitch Grigg has said, if offered, he would turn down a second chance at AFL level.
The 26-year-old was thought to be someone who could have been picked up in the supplementary selection period.
“To be honest, I’d probably turn it down if I got the opportunity (at AFL level) now anyway,” Grigg told SEN Afternoons.
“If I wasn’t good enough before, how could I be good enough now.
“It was disappointing to find out no one was really that interested, but I’m happy, I’ve bought a place with my fiancé and I’m looking forward to the year ahead with Norwood."
Grigg played 20 times for the Crows before being delisted at the end of the 2016 season. He has since gone on to win back-to-back Margarey Medals in the SANFL.
