Former Lion Blake Coleman has found his new footballing home, signing out with VFL outfit Williamstown for the 2024 season.
Coleman joined his older brother Keidean at Brisbane after being selected with the 24th pick of the 2020 AFL Draft, however, after failing to feature at AFL level in his three seasons at the Gabba, Coleman was delisted alongside Rhys Mathieson and Darryl McDowell Jr. in October.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a solid 2023 season at VFL level however, slotting 22 goals in his 23 starts for the Lions' reserves in a season that fell five goals short of a grand final berth.
In his 50 VFL appearances thus far, Coleman has gone at better than a goal-a-game, with 52 majors, as well as an average of 11.6 disposals per outing.
