Former Fremantle and West Coast ruckman Luke Strnadica has returned to his former WAFL club East Fremantle for the 2025 season.

The move to the Sharks will see the 203cm talent land back in the blue and white for the first time since 2021, which proved to be a career-best year for the Winnacott junior as he earned an AFL reprieve with the Eagles ahead of the following season.

Strnadica would go on to make his AFL debut in 2022 against Port Adelaide, managing 11 disposals, nine hitouts, three tackles and three marks in a loss at Adelaide Oval.

He would play the following week against Richmond, putting up similar numbers in another defeat - which would be his final game at the top level.

Strnadica spent two years at Fremantle's as a fringe ruck-forward, however would not debut, instead playing 38 games for Peel Thunder across the league and reserves levels.

That spell came between a pair of stints with the Sharks, with Strnadica having been drafted to the Dockers as a rookie in 2016 after a promising career in the colts at East Fremantle.

The WAFL club has now revealed the 26-year-old is back with the Sharks, joining the team for next season.

"We are excited to welcome back Luke Strnadica to the sharks ahead of season 2025," a club post read.

"As a towering 203cm Ruck/Forward, Luke not only brings a wealth of experience to the team but also an exciting dynamic that will be extremely valuable for 2025."

East Fremantle managed a fourth-place finish to the 2024 season, recording 12 wins from 18 games in the home and away season before bowing out to Claremont in week one of the finals.
