Melbourne forward Kysaiah Pickett is the latest player embroiled with a potential move out of the club, with a recent report indicating a level of homesickness.

The Demons appear to be in the middle of a crisis, with a player exodus mounting, headed by star Christian Petracca.

In the annual exit meeting, Pickett expressed his concerns to coach Simon Goodwin, saying that he is beginning to feel homesick, according to Channel 7's Mitch Cleary.

The 23-year-old signed a four-year extension in 2023 amid heavy trade speculation, with multiple links to South and Western Australia.

โ€œThe club and his management are confident they can work through his concerns and that he will remain (at the Demons) with three years to run on his contract,โ€ Cleary said.

Port Adelaide has long been a fan of Pickett and will likely entertain the idea of luring him out of Melbourne.

However, according toย Channel 9's Tom Morris, if a trade can be brokered, the 23-year-old would prefer to head to Western Australia.

Pickett has strong links to West Coast premiership player Liam Ryan.

However, a fresh update has suggested that the Demon forward would rather join Fremantle than the Eagles, according to Channel 7'sย Theo Doropoulos.

If Pickett were to make the move, he'd likely join Richmond's Shai Bolton in the switch.

It comes as Petracca's frustrations with the club have been made public, with reports indicating he'd rather play for a rival club in 2025.

Teammate Alex Neal-Bullen is also on the move, with the mid-forward nominating his preferred club of choice, with Adelaide set to benefit.
