Fremantle great Paul Hasleby has revealed his updated top eight for this season.
With the competition getting shutdown after Round 1 due to the COVID-19 crisis and several changes following, the All Australian made three changes to his original finalists.
“I think given the circumstances around the season, a few things have changed,” Hasleby told Sportsday WA.
“The Bulldogs, Port Adelaide and St Kilda three teams I had around the mark they all drop for different reasons.
“Port Adelaide of course because they’ll be based up there for a while, the Bulldogs were disappointing in Round 1 and St Kilda with what’s happened I think they’re a little too young in their development now.”
Coming into Hasleby's updated top eight is Essendon, Geelong and Hawthorn, with the Hawks replacing the Western Bulldogs as the only change from the 2019 finalists.
The former midfielder originally had the Bulldogs finishing fourth, but has replaced them with Collingwood and dropped Luke Beveridge's side out of the eight altogether.
He maintains that GWS, Richmond and Brisbane will round out the top four.
