Gary Rohan and Will Day have both elected to challenge their respective one and two-match bans at the AFL tribunal.
Gary Rohan was handed a one match suspension for his sling tackle on young Hawk Changkuoth Jiath, ruled out of Geelong's Round 5 clash against West Coast.
Jiath continued playing in the wake of the tackle and a 50 metre penalty was paid, but the MRO graded the act as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, sidelining Rohan for Gather Round.
The 31-year-old is yet to miss a game for the Cats this season, having kicked six goals across his first four outings in 2023.
Meanwhile, Will Day was handed a two-match suspension for his own sling tackle on Geelong's Brad Close in the third quarter of the 83-point Hawthorn loss.
The MRO graded the incident as careless conduct, high impact and high contact, with the young gun to miss Hawthorn's Gather Round clash against GWS and Round 6's match against Adelaide should his suspension fail to be overturned.
The tribunal will sit on Thursday night.
