Geelong has announced its leadership group for 2021, with Joel Selwood set to skipper the club for a 10th straight season.
Patrick Dangerfield, Mark Blicavs, Mitch Duncan, Mark O’Connor, Tom Stewart and Zach Tuohy round out the seven-man leadership group and will all serve as co-vice captains.
The club retains the same leadership group as 2020, however, only Dangerfield and Blicavs shared vice-captaincy duties last year.

One of the greatest leaders of the modern era, Selwood's 200 appearances as skipper is a club record and he is one of six AFL players to captain a club in a double century of games.
The veteran midfielder and triple-premiership player, who turns 33 later this year, has now logged 310 AFL games since making his debut in 2007.
Geelong general manager of football Simon Lloyd has great faith in the Cats leaders to guide the club to another successful season on field.
“We have an exceptional group of leaders at the club,” Lloyd told geelongcats.com.au.
“The PLG takes a broad club-wide view, and that is a hallmark of the group. Joel is an experienced and inspirational captain, and the support he receives from his fellow leaders and the wider playing group has allowed us to develop a culture that has endured and thrived.
“This group led us so well during the difficult 2020 season. They have endured, thrived yet strive to get better and build their capabilities. They have the respect and trust of their peers and everyone at the club.”
It is a year of great expectations for the Cats, with many predicting they will go one step further from their grand final run in 2020.
They acquired Jeremy Cameron, Shaun Higgins and Isaac Smith during the trade period in an off-season coup, bolstering their list for another flag tilt.
Geelong open their 2021 campaign against the Crows at Adelaide Oval next Saturday.
