Geelong have announced contract extensions for veteran trio Patrick Dangerfield, Rhys Stanley and Mitch Duncan for at least the 2025 season.
Dangerfield, the Cats' captain, has inked a two-year deal that will see him stay at Kardinia Park until the end of 2026, while Stanley and Duncan have signed one-year deals for next season.
A Brownlow Medal winner, Dangerfield's new deal will take him through to seasons 10 and 11 with the Cats, who he joined following the 2015 season after eight years with Adelaide.
The 34-year-old has won a premiership, a Brownlow Medal, three best and fairest and five All-Australian selections during his time with the Cats across 183 games.
Duncan has spent his entire career with Geelong, a stint that spans 296 career games. Duncan is a member of the Cats' 2011 and 2022 premiership sides, having joined the club via the 2009 AFL Draft.
The veteran midfielder is four games away fro becoming just the seventh Geelong player to play 300 matches for the club.
Stanley joined Geelong in 2014 after 58 games and six years with St Kilda. The South Australian joined the Cats as a ruck-forward hybrid but has grown into a full-time ruckman with Geelong, a role he held in the 2022 premiership team.
He has played 152 games with Geelong and brought up his 200th career match this year against North Melbourne.
"Patrick, Mitch and Rhys have been strong pillars of our Club both on and off the field. Their commitment, leadership and motivation to continually develop themselves and our program has been exceptional,โ Geelong football boss Andrew Mackie said.
The trio of re-signings finalise Geelong's list ahead of this week's deadline, while the Cats have confirmed the addition of category B rookie Cillian Burke from Ireland.
Geelong landed Western Bulldogs midfielder Bailey Smith in a trade this month and have Picks 45, 57 and 75 for November's AFL Draft.
