Our Rookie Rankings are still welcoming fresh faces with less than a month left in the home and away season, with a Cats rookie breaking into our top eight for the first time in 2024.

Round 21's changes have seen a mature-aged Geelong recruit enter our rankings while a Lions forward jumps two spots following a strong Sunday outing.

Another Cat headlines the chasing pack with three rounds remaining as he and a Suns midfielder stand a chance to snatch a spot before the season concludes.

Selection Criteria: For our Rookie Rankings, we are ONLY selecting players who have made their debut this season.

Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2024 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as George Wardlaw, Angus Sheldrick and Sam Darcy are ineligible, having already played an AFL match before Round 1, 2024.

Honourable Mentions:
Archie Roberts (Essendon)
Will Graham (Gold Coast)
Seth Campbell (Richmond)
Darcy Jones (GWS)

5. Logan Morris (+2)

A strong second game back for the Brisbane teenager, who was dropped to the VFL for Round 19 and responded to the axing with style - finding form at the state league level and condoning that in his return.

After a 15-disposal effort in last week's QClash, Morris started Sunday's game against the Saints with two early goals, one coming from a strong mark and the other crumbing his own contest.

It was a performance Lions fans had come to expect from the exciting tall forward, who should hold his place for another week for the Lions' meeting with GWS on Saturday.
