Our Rookie Rankings are still welcoming fresh faces with less than a month left in the home and away season, with a Cats rookie breaking into our top eight for the first time in 2024.

Round 21's changes have seen a mature-aged Geelong recruit enter our rankings while a Lions forward jumps two spots following a strong Sunday outing.

Another Cat headlines the chasing pack with three rounds remaining as he and a Suns midfielder stand a chance to snatch a spot before the season concludes.

Selection Criteria: For our Rookie Rankings, we are ONLY selecting players who have made their debut this season.

Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2024 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as George Wardlaw, Angus Sheldrick and Sam Darcy are ineligible, having already played an AFL match before Round 1, 2024.

4. Darcy Wilson (-)

14 disposals five marks and over 300 metres gained for the St Kilda runner in an 85-point loss that St Kilda players will be quickly keen to move on from.

Despite the result, Wilson was reliable with ball in hand, moving the pill at 85% efficiency at half-forward to often his teammates some decent looks.

Wilson also came away with four intercept possessions to add something on the defensive end.

The Saints return to Marvel Stadium this weekend to face Richmond in Round 22 as they look to add to their winning column before the season ends.
