Geelong star Bailey Smith will likely be issued a 'please explain' by the AFL after footage emerged of him flipping off an Adelaide fan after the club's 19-point victory.
Smith's time at the Cats, after being successfully traded from the Western Bulldogs last October, has been fruitful for the club down the highway.
The former Bulldog gathered 35 disposals, six clearances, nine score involvements, six inside 50s and a goal in the comeback victory.

However, Smith's performance was spoiled by his post-game antics, of which the Crows fan can be seen reaching over the player's race to make comments toward the star Cat.
The 24-year-old was high-fiving fans as the Cats walked down the tunnel, before the interaction occurred.
"If I had my time again, I probably shouldn't have done the double bird," Smith said on Channel 7.
"But it's all part of it. There's only so much you can cop. But I'll expect a fine. But don't talk s*** to the skipper."
West Coast wunderkind Harley Reid was fined $1,000 late last month after he twice flipped off Brisbane fans in Round 2.
The league has now set the precedent for acts like this, and it would be no surprise if Smith received a similar sanction.
Geelong coach Chris Scott couldn't be more rapt with how Smith has bounced back from his ACL injury, spending all of 2024 on the sidelines.
"We didn't bring (Smith) in thinking he was just going to come in and be amazing for us right from the word โgo'," Scott said.
"We were going to give him some room to work his way into a season after a year off with an ACL, but he's really helped us."
More to come.
