Geelong star and All-Australian Tyson Stengle was reportedly rushed to hospital following a serious incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Stengle was in attendance at venue Bloom in Geelong and was taken to the hospital via ambulance at about 2.30 am.
Channel 7's Mitch Cleary said the goalsneak was sent to University Geelong Hospital in a “serious condition” where he remained for several hours.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed an incident occurred, according to 7NEWS.
“Paramedics responded to reports of an incident in Geelong at around 2am on 28 July 2024,” the statement said.
“One man was transported to University Geelong Hospital in a serious condition.”
The incident involving Stengle happened merely hours he and the Cats won by 40 points in Hobart against North Melbourne.
The former Tiger and Crow slotted three goals to continue his impressive stretch of form and puts him well within the frame for a second All-Australian blazer.
It is understood that Stengle is "recovering well and was seen running light laps on Monday morning at Cats training" but is unsure if he'll be available for selection in Round 21.
