Giants handed cruel double injury blow to Toby Greene and Harry Perryman

Giants star Toby Greene is expected to miss four weeks with a shoulder injury, reports Fox Sports' Tom Morris.

The report also states that the Harry Perrman will miss multiple weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.

The club could confirm the news as early as Monday morning in a cruel blow for Leon Cameron's side.

Greene had been enjoying arguably a career-best season, especially since taking over the captaincy reigns from injured incumbent Stephen Coniglio - averaging 18.7 disposals and booting 22 goals.

The star forward recently added an extra two seasons to his contract until 2026, effectively making him a Giant for life.

Meanwhile, Perryman has also been one of GWS' best players in 2021, averaging 22.7 disposals from six games.

The Giants coming off a narrow four-point loss to Richmond on the weekend to currently sit ninth on the ladder.
