Greater Western Sydney recruit Matt De Boer will be sidelined for six weeks due to a hamstring injury.
De Boer, who was delisted by the Dockers, before being thrown a lifeline by the Giants in the 2016 rookie draft, sustained the injury at training on Monday.
โMatt has contributed really well to our playing group throughout the pre-season,"ย GWSย Head of Athletic Performance David Joyce said.
โThis is obviously a disappointing setback for Matt but no doubt he'll do his rehab very diligently to return to the field in the coming weeks."
