GWS young gun Tim Taranto will remain at the Giants this upcoming season despite links to the Saints.
Essendon great Matthew Lloyd reported earlier in the week that Taranto is St Kilda's โnumber oneโ target during this upcoming trade period, which were confirmed by veteran journalist Caroline Wilson.
However, those links have been shut down by Taranto's manager Matt Bain.
โThereโs zero truth in it. It will not be happening,โ Bain told Nine.
โHe signed last year until the end of 2022 and he loves the club, he loves it up there.
โTim Taranto is not leaving.โ
The Giants are in a tough spot in regards to retaining several contract players, including the likes of 2019 Coleman medalist Jeremy Cameron and other young guns Jackson Hately, Xavier OโHalloran and Jye Caldwell.
