The GWS Giants have locked away veteran Lachlan Keeffe for another season, with the key tall signing a fresh one-year contract extension.

At 32 years of age, the orange and charcoal have locked down an experienced contributor with the versatility as a tall.ย

It will be Keeffe's 15th season in the AFL and his eighth with the Giants after spending his first seven years with Collingwood.

At 204cm, Keeffe has developed into a versatile tall for the Giants, with an ability to be thrown in as a key forward, back and as a backup ruckman to Kieren Briggs.ย

Although playing the majority of the 2024 season in the VFL, the Giants' veteran managed to break into the senior side through the back half of the year - playing the final five games of the season.
