Giants youngster Xavier O’Halloran is set to re-sign with the club on a two-year deal, per Fox Sports' Tom Morris.
The former Pick 22 has fended off interest from a number of rival clubs - including including Essendon, Geelong, Brisbane and the Western Bulldogs - to recommit to GWS.
It is believed that the 20-year old agreed to terms with the Giants over the last 48 hours.
In what has been a tumultuous off-season for the club that has seen a number key players walk, including Jeremy Cameron and Zac Williams, the signature of O’Halloran is a win.
Both of the other Giants from O’Halloran's 2018 draft class - Jackson Hately and Jye Caldwell - will find themselves at new clubs in 2021 at Adelaide and Essendon respectively.
O’Halloran has only played two AFL games for the Giants but now figures to get more senior opportunities following their player exodus.
