Gold Coast co-captain Touk Miller was unable to see out Saturday's match against North Melbourne due to a wrist injury.
The star Suns ball-winner was replaced by tactical sub Bailey Humphrey in the third term of the Round 17 contest after hurting his wrist earlier in the quarter.
The injury struck the Suns as the Roos held an advantage in the second half, with Damien Hardwick's engine room going a man down with the game on the line.
A foot injury to Sam Day curtailed his afternoon also, with the Suns forward left limping after hosting himself away from play innocuously.
Fellow onballer Sam Flanders was assessed for a cut to his face in the same quarter but was able to continue in the match.
Miller's injury sees the Suns lose their two skippers to injury in as many weeks, with co-captain and ruckman Jarrod Witts suffering a fractured vertebrae in Round 16 against Collingwood.
Touk Miller has been subbed out with a wrist injury, Bailey Humphrey enters the game.
