The Gold Coast Suns have made two more delistings following the conclusion of the free agency and trade period, with one of those cuts expected to make his way to Fremantle.
Wingman Jeremy Sharp and defender Jake Stein have been informed by Gold Coast's list bosses that they will not receive playing contracts for the 2024 season.
The Suns traded for the opportunity to select Sharp during the 2019 National Draft, though the Western Australian managed just 23 senior games across four AFL seasons.
Stein, meanwhile, was acquired from the GWS Giants at the end of the 2022 season but played no AFL games in Gold Coast colours.
While Sharp and Stein struggled to attain senior playing opportunities with the Suns, the duo played an integral part in Gold Coast's VFL premiership triumph. However, unfortunately, Stein ruptured his ACL during the win over Werribee.
Gold Coast General Manager of Player Talent Craig Cameron expressed his thanks to Sharp and Stein for their contributions during their time on the Sunshine Coast.
"I'd like to extend our thanks to both Jeremy and Jake for their contributions to our football club," Cameron said as part of a club statement on Friday morning.
"Although they didn't play any AFL games in 2023, both were important players in our successful VFL campaign and we wish them all the best for what lies ahead."
According to Seven Perth reporter Ryan Daniels on Friday, Sharp is likely to make his way to Fremantle, whether it be during the upcoming delisted free agency signing period or at one of the drafts.
The @freodockers have strong interest in adding delisted @GoldCoastSUNS wingman Jeremy Sharp, and are ramping up their pursuit - using either free agency or the draft.
Bit to play out, but Iโd expect him to be at Freo next season.@7NewsPerth @TripleMPerth

Delisted free agency commences next Wednesday, November 1 at 9:00 AM (AEDT).
In addition to Sharp and Stein, the Suns offloaded midfielder Jed Anderson and forward Brodie McLaughlin this off-season.
