Suns star Matt Rowell has sustained a knee injury during his side's clash against West Coast on Sunday and will not return to the field.
The expected injury came during a contest where Eagles forward Zac Langdon tackled Rowell, with the teenager subsequently subbed off via the medical substitute.
Early signs suggest the 19-year-old could face an extended period on the sidelines.
Awful news.
Matt Rowell's day is done.

Rowell played just the five games in his debut season last year due to a season-ending shoulder injury.
The former No.1 pick was arguably the Suns' best player during the opening several games of his career.
