Collingwood ruckman Brodie Grundy is set to miss the next 2-3 weeks after suffering a neck injury during Saturday's loss to Geelong, the club announced on Monday.
Grundy was subbed out of the match in the third term after a contest with Cats counterpart Rhys Stanley and was soon rushed to hospital.

The club released a statement on Sunday morning revealing that Grundy had pinched a nerve and felt pain in his right shoulder and arm.
After undergoing further assessment this week, Grundy and star midfielder Taylor Adams are set to miss 2-3 weeks.

Collingwood revealed that Grundy requires further advice from a specialist and is suffering from whiplash.
Collingwood are set to face Adelaide in South Australia this weekend before a Round 13 clash against Melbourne and then a bye.
