GWS has unveiled guernsey numbers for its 2019 draftees, as well as ruck recruit Sam Jacobs.

Fourth overall pick Lachie Ash will don the No. 7, while fellow first-round selection Tom Green will join new Hawk Jonathon Patton as the only Giants to wear No. 12.

Meanwhile, 201-game veteran Jacobs, who made the move to GWS after falling behind Reilly O'Brien in the Crows' ruck pecking order, will wear the No. 10 for his third AFL club.

Jake Riccardi, selected with the 51st pick in the National Draft after a stellar 2019 season with VFL club Werribee in which he finished second in the competition's goal-kicking and claimed the Fothergill-Round-Mitchell medal as the best young player in the VFL, inherits the No. 26 jumper from the retired Dawson Simpson.

Mature-age draftee Tom Hutchesson, who averaged 13 disposals per game in 15 SANFL games for Adelaide in 2019, will begin his GWS career in No. 20.

The Giants will open their 2020 campaign at home against Geelong on March 21.
