GWS captain Toby Greene admitted that there were "things that could have (been) done better" during the club's annual off-season party following the 2024 campaign.
Greene was one of 13 players at the Giants who were sanctioned, with youngster Josh Fahey copping the largest penalty of four matches.
The Giants skipper was fined $5,000 for not showing leadership and failing to put a halt to the unsavoury behaviours in the private event.
Now, with a sole focus on putting the infamous Wacky Wednesday in the rearview mirror, Greene was candid about what could be done better next time.
"There's things we could have done better, myself and as a club,โ Greene said onย Channel 7.

"We learned them throughout the process and I guess all we can do is make sure it doesn't happen again and get a lot better from it.
"There were just a few mistakes leading into it and how it played out. The way we finished the season, no one really anticipated being there on that day.
"We wish we could have been better. I learned a lot from it to be honest. Really disappointing."
The Giants go into 2025 as one of the premiership favourites after going out in straight sets to the grand finalists of this year.
The AFL's youngest club added Jake Stringer to the forward line mix but lost experienced trio Isaac Cumming (Adelaide), Harry Perryman (Collingwood) and Nick Haynes (Carlton).
GWS hold Picks 15, 16, 21, 37, 56, 74 in the upcoming National Draft.
