Giants defender Aidan Corr has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal that will see him remain at GWS until at least the end of the 2020 season.
The 23-year-old is in his fifth year with the club after being drafted with the 14th pick in the 2012 National Draft, and said the decision was an easy one for him to make.
“I jumped straight at it like a lot of the other boys have lately,” Corr told gwsgiants.com.au.
“I was rapt when the offer was put there as it was the best thing for me and my football.
“I love it here in Sydney and coming to work every day with 40 ripping blokes made it very easy for me to sign.”
The defender has play 47 games for the Giants in total over his career, and has played the last 11 in 2017 after missing the Giants' opening two games.
GWS General Manager of Football Wayne Campbell was thrilled with Corr's decision to remain at the club.
“Aidan has been through his fair share of ups and downs with injury but this year he has established himself as a reliable part of our backline,” Campbell said.
“He’s a highly-valued member of the club and is well respected by his teammates.
“Aidan’s in his fifth season at the club and is starting to reap the rewards of the hard work he and his teammates have put in over the years.”
