GWS has decided to delist trio Josh Fahey, Lachlan Keeffe and Jacob Wehr with the intention to re-list all three players via next month's Rookie Draft.
All three players were contracted for the 2025 season, with Keeffe and Fahey part of the club's primary list this year.
The decision to delist the trio will give the Giants greater access to the AFL National Draft, which the club holds Picks 15, 16, 21, 37, 56 and 74 for.
Keeffe re-signed with the Giants this month on a one-year deal that will take the 34-year-old into an eighth year with GWS and 14th overall in the AFL, having started his career with Collingwood in 2009.
Fahey joined the Giants via the 2021 AFL Draft as a graduate of the club's Academy out of Canberra. He has played seven games for GWS at the top level, all coming in 2023.
Wehr has played 25 games in the orange and charcoal since joining the Giants via the 2020 AFL Draft, making his debut in 2022 and playing a career-high 11 games this year.
The National Draft will take place on November 20-21, with the Rookie Draft to follow on the 22nd. Clubs are scheduled for a list lodgement deadline on October 31 ahead of delisted free agency.
