Port Adelaide has suffered a major blow ahead of its clash with Greater Western Sydney on Saturday afternoon, with Matthew Lobbe ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Lobbe was expected to come into the side for the suspended Paddy Ryder, however, he sustained a hamstring injury during a reserves game in the SANFL last the weekend, with scans revealing a strain.

The ruck duties are expected to be shared between Charlie Dixon, Jackson Trengove and Justin Westoff in Ryder and Lobbe's absence.

The club is yet to name a return date for Lobbe.

More to come.
