Channel Seven's Cameron Luke has declared that Dan Hannebery is the best player from the 2008 AFL draft class who has had the best career.
This draft featured some players that are now considered amongst the best in the league, including Nic Naitanui (Pick No. 2), Jack Ziebell (9), Phil Davis (10), Steele Sidebottom (11), Luke Shuey (18), David Zaharakis (23), Dayne Beams (29), Rory Sloane (44) and Michael Walters (53).
Jack Watts was the number one pick but has failed to live up to the hype.
Hannebery has suffered some setbacks in recent years but his career credentials are certainly very impressive.
A three-time All-Australian, Hannebery won a premiership 2012, two Best and Fairest awards at Sydney, the Rising Star in 2010 and has finished in the top five of the Brownlow Medal on three occasions.
Across his career he has averaged 24.4 disposals including leading the league in total disposals in 2015 and 2016.
Who do you think has had the best career from the 2008 draft?
