Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has declared Trent Cotchin and Bachar Houli as certain starters for Thursday night's Grand Final rematch against the Adelaide Crows at Adelaide Oval.

The Tigers captain was struggling with a severe migraine on Sunday night, prompting him to seek medical treatment at Epworth hospital.

Fortunately enough, the Tigers star was discharged on Monday morning and was fit to train with the team early Tuesday morning.

Hardwick said he was concerned when he had heard about his premiership captain's episode.

"It was a little bit alarming when I heard he was in hospital, but pleasingly enough for us he was discharged pretty early the next day," Hardwick told afl.com.au.

"Migraines can be pretty significant, so we're just pleased he got through it and got some treatment and is available to play this week, which is great."

"He's all good and ready to play," Hardwick declared.

As if there wasn't enough motivation to knock off their premiership opponent once again, the Grand Final rematch will mark as Cotchin's 200th AFL game.

Hardwick also mentioned that Houli is a certainty for the Thursday night clash as he returns from a calf injury that sidelined him during the JLT Community Series.

Richmond will make their way to Adelaide on Wednesday afternoon to prepare for their Thursday night match against the Crows.
