Brisbane forward Lincoln McCarthy has penned a one-year contract extension at the club, locking him away until at least the end of 2025.
McCarthy - who is a key component of the Lions front half - has been a revelation for the club since crossing from Geelong at the end of the 2018 season.
The 30-year-old has added 122 games under Chris Fagan, kicking 142 goals in that time.
Despite such a positive start to the 2024 season, McCarthy unfortunately tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in Round 8 against Gold Coast and has been sidelined ever since.
However, the former Cat is keen to get back as soon as possible and is eyeing off 2025 for a big comeback.

McCarthy, who hails from Bordertown and SANFL club Glenelg, will now go around for his 14th season in the AFL.
The small forward was a key member of Brisbane's 2023 Grand Final side, with club GM of Football Danny Daly saying that he thoroughly deserved the new deal.

McCarthy's Lions are still in the hunt for finals after overturning a sluggish start to be in contention for the top four.
Brisbane will complete its home and away campaign with a clash against Essendon in front of the home crowd at the Gabba on Saturday before embarking on its sixth consecutive finals appearance.
