Sydney star Isaac Heeney's long-standing lead atop our MVP race has come to an end, with Collingwood's Nick Daicos jumping ahead of the Swans midfielder by a single vote.
Since Round 3, Heeney has sat in pole position as he enjoys a career-best campaign in the red and white, having polled in every game he has played in prior to the most recent weekend.
His first zero-vote performance has seen Daicos rise to No.1 with 176 votes to his name, with the Magpies midfielder adding 17 votes to his season tally in Saturday's loss to Gold Coast.
Daicos has stunningly polled 156 votes in his past 10 matches to undergo a meteoric rise to the summit, with he and Heeney also not alone at the top.
Perfect performances from Carlton captain Patrick Cripps and Western Bulldogs star Marcus Bontempelli in Round 16 have seen the duo move within reaching distance of Daicos on 159 and 158 votes respectively for 2024.
The midfield maestros were joined by Adelaide's Izak Rankine as the only players to poll 20-vote games over the weekend, with Sun Noah Anderson and Swan Nick Blakey falling one vote short each of perfect Round 16 performances.
Zero votes to Heeney and fellow top 10 runners Zach Merrett, Max Gawn, Errol Gulden and Chad Warner has seen the high end of the leaderboard under a few changes, with Warner falling out of the top 10 as a result.
Port Adelaide's Zak Butters has returned to eighth overall after collecting 10 votes in his side's narrow win over the Power, while Caleb Serong (eight votes) and Lachie Neale (three) also polled to strengthen their positions.
Brisbane's Josh Dunkley and Melbourne's Kysaiah Pickett polled 18 and 17 votes respectively from Friday's game at the Gabba, while Power's Jason Horne-Francis led the way for his side with 16 votes in Round 16.
Carlton's Sam Walsh amassed 15 votes while forming a one-two punch with Cripps in the middle of the field against Richmond as Hawthorn trio Dylan Moore (14 votes), James Worpel (13) and James Sicily (13) split the shares from their Sunday victory.
Votes from Geelong's win over Essendon were also split, with all of Oliver Dempsey, Patrick Dangerfield, Jye Caldwell and Tom Stewart viewed as the best afield from our judging panel.
