Sydney's Robbie Fox is expected to be available for selection this weekend after recovering from a calf strain, with the club confirming he will be a test for Round 4.
Fox is yet to play this season after a 14-game 2022 effort, with the Swans originally expecting the 29-year-old to miss just the opening match of the season.
Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services at the Swans, Damian Raper confirmed Fox's potential availability, while providing an update on several Swans.
"Robbie trained well with the team last week. He completed our main training session and additional skills. He will be a test for this weekend," Raper said.
Ryan Clarke is continuing his hamstring rehabilitation, set to feature in the VFL this weekend, while Sam Reid remains on a limited training program.
"Ryan completed full team training last week, with top up skills in order to build his match play exposure. He will continue his progressions through VFL match play this weekend," Raper said.
"Sam remains limited in his running at the moment. He is completing straight line running only and is yet to progress to team training.
"He continues to be assessed by our rehabilitation team on a weekly basis to determine his best management plan."
Meanwhile, Tom Hickey is nearing his return from a calf strain, expected to join full training next week.
"Tom has recommenced modified team training," Raper said.
"We expect him to partake in some skills this week, with reintegration to full training and match play next week as he nears a return to play."
The Swans will face Port Adelaide on Saturday night at the SCG.
