2023 AFL pre-season matches are upon us, with the first week of games to take place between February 23-24. This is Zero Hanger's guide to watching the AFL's pre-season matches on TV, or live streaming them online.

Three matches will be held on Thursday, March 2 before a further three matches take place across Friday, March 3 and then another three on Saturday, March 4, with no matches to be played on Sunday.

Who is playing in week two of the AFL pre-season?

All 18 AFL clubs will participate in official pre-season matches after both the Western Bulldogs and GWS Giants both decided not to partake in last week's action.

All nine matches are to be played under normal formats, with 26-man squads named for each side.

The fixture for the opening game is as follows:

How to watch the pre-season games on TV

All nine pre-season matches will be broadcast live on Foxtel.

Fox Footy can be found on Channel 504 with your Foxtel service. Some matches will be played simultaneously and can be found on Channel 503, 505 or 506.

How to live stream the pre-season games

All nine pre-season matches will be streamed nationally on Kayo Sports.ย

When do AFL clubs release their teams for pre-season matches?

AFL teams are expected to unveil their squads at approximately 5:00pm the day prior to their club's pre-season match.
