Fears have gone into the Hawthorn camp following a Will Day shoulder injury during Sunday's clash at the MCG against Richmond, with coach Sam Mitchell allaying concerns post-game.
During the first-quarter routing, Day can be seen reaching for a ball in the contest before coming into contact with teammate Jai Newcombe.
The young midfielder was in obvious discomfort and came from the field clutching his right shoulder.
It's a collarbone injury for Day, per the Hawks.#AFLHawksTigers https://t.co/fZpdB4LhCB

The Hawks made the call to bring on substitute Luke Breust, with Day rushed to hospital to assess the damage.
The injury could be a massive blow to the club's premiership chances, with initial scans having shown no break in the right collarbone.
However, a partial dislocation of where his collarbone connects with his chest has been revealed.
Hawthorn has sought out a specialist and will get a second opinion.
โWe've seen one specialist who says no surgery, and hopefully the other one will say the same thing tomorrow (Tuesday),โ Hawks coach Sam Mitchell told Fox Footy's AFL 360.
โIf we get through (to the finals), we're hopeful he's available.โ
Day has been ruled out of the club's Round 24 clash against North Melbourne.
Defender Jack Scrimshaw will also be in a race to make it back for the first final if Hawthorn makes it.
It is understood that Scrimshaw has a dislocated finger, with it being likely that he will be sent for scans.
