Sydney Swans midfielder Dan Hannebery has recently been heavily linked to St Kilda and the discussion of a potential trade occurring at the end of the season has come to the forefront.
Hannebery has had an injury plagued season and hasn't approached anywhere near best form, but remains contracted with the Swans until the end of 2021.
Fox Footy journalist Tom Morris recently reported the Saints have been in contact with Hannebery and a long-term deal is on the table. St.Kilda midfielder Seb Ross is in full support of his club targeting him.
“Yeah, I’d love to have (Hannebery at St Kilda),” Ross told SEN Breakfast.
“I saw that article the other week and if we can get a quality player like that and someone who’s a really proven player.
“I know he would help our side massively and I’d love to play alongside him.”
Hannebery has been on the Swans injury list with a calf injury, but may get the opportunity to return this weekend in the side's clash with Melbourne.
