Pantomime: A theatrical or dramatic entertainment.

Villain: A person or thing responsible for specified problems, harm or damage.

Both the Magpies and the God of Mischief bring plenty of drama and entertainment to the screen as villains, Loki in the traditional sense and Collingwood in the eyes of every rival supporter.

More so this year, the Pies have supplied plenty of drama with their record-breaking close wins, enough that made them likeable to non-Magpie fans.

Loki meanwhile, has been following a story arc of redemption and is the lead of his own tv series.

Both are now the 'hero'.

Loki had 'died' and come back countless times, sounds awfully familiar to Collingwood 'dying' at the pointy end of seasons (27 grand final losses) and returning almost every time.

  1. LOL….
port – one of the “oldest clubs in the afl”……

No – the filth in the afl (“PORT ADELAIDE FOOTBALL CLUB (A.F.L.) LIMITED”) was formed and incorporated in 1995. There is a club that is now (port adelaide “magpies” of which the ‘wobbles are a poor copy) which is now owned by port (afl) that was formed in the previous century (1870).
