GWS free agent Harry Perryman has reportedly elected Collingwood as his desired landing spot this off-season.
Perryman is an unrestricted free agent in 2024, meaning he can walk to the club of his choosing with no restraint from the Giants, who will be compensated for his departure.
The Giants are facing an exodus of senior talent this year, having already confirmed the departures of Nick Haynes and Isaac Cumming, who will also leave via free agency.
Cumming has confirmed his move to Adelaide, while Haynes is expected to join Carlton, with the signing window opening this Friday and running for seven days.
Perryman had interest from several clubs this season as he weighed up his future, with Port Adelaide, Hawthorn and Essendon joining the Magpies in having shown some level of interest, while GWS were in the frame to retain the defensive-minded midfielder.

The 2023 premiers won't be required to hand over any trade assets to attain Perryman's services, with the only cost of the move coming from their salary cap.
The value of Giants' compensation will be calculated on the structure of Collingwood's offer to Perryman.
Perryman's arrival might be the sole addition for Collingwood this year, with the Olympic Park club an unlikely option for Port Adelaide's Dan Houston. Perryman's decision to choose Collingwood over the Power could see the Power stand firmer in their negotiations with Victorian clubs keen on the two-time All-Australian.
The Magpies are keen to retain speedster Joe Richards, who has an offer on the table from Port Adelaide, while defender John Noble has requested a trade to Queensland and is likely to join the Gold Coast Suns.
The 2024 free agency window will open on Friday, October 4 and will run through to Friday, October 11.
