Luckless Saint Nathan Freeman is still seeking his AFL debut after luckily avoiding another dreaded surgery, this time on his injured shoulder which he sustained in a VFL match last weekend.
After being drafted by Collingwood in 2013, Freeman has suffered an extensive list of injuries since then and his AFL debut has been negated because of them.
The injury he sustained over the weekend created soreness in his AC joint, however the damage the injury caused remained unclear until he was assessed after the match.
Freeman will reportedly miss a few weeks but his setback will not be as prolific as what was initially expected, according to afl.com.au.
The Saints have eyed off Round 14 as the return date for the 22-year-old, which still gives the midifielder up to 10 weeks to potentially crack the senior side.
