Number one draft pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan will have to wait a little longer for his AFL debut after he suffered a head knock playing for Footscray in the VFL on Sunday.
Ugle-Hagan injured himself attempting a tackle in the early stages of the Bulldogs' contest against Carlton at Whitten Oval.
AFL rules require players to abide by a 12-day rest period after experiencing concision, which means Ugle-Hagan will not be available for selection against Port Adelaide next Saturday.
The 19-year-old kicked the first goal of the game before he was knocked out.
In other VFL injury news, Hawthorn ruckman Ned Reeves sustained a left ankle injury in a marking contest and left the ground on crutches.
Premiership ruckman Jonathon Ceglar was named to make his return from an ankle injury but did not play.
Collingwood prospect Reef McInnes was pictured on crutches at quarter-time after sustaining an ankle injury.
He did not return to the field and will likely serve a stint on the sidelines.
