Melbourne's Jake Melksham has been criticised by fans after cameras caught him grabbing a jersey off a Fremantle fan as the Demons walked out of the race ahead of their clash against the Dockers at Optus Stadium.
The Fremantle fan was spotted hanging the jumper over the race as the Demons ran past, a jumper adorned with Luke Jackson's name and number 6. Jackson has been heavily linked to a move west to join the Dockers at the conclusion of the season, having delayed contract negotiations with the Demons.

Jake Melksham grabbing a Freo guernsey off a fan and throwing it on the ground is not spectacular.

Melbourne went on to register a 46-point win in an impressive performance, with Melksham himself ending the night with 11 disposals and a goal.
Despite the average performance from the home team, Freo fans didn't seem to be any less inclined to remind the Demons about the potential upcoming trade, appearing at their side as the team left the ground.
Brandishing the purple Jackson jumper once again, the supporters caught the ire of Demons skipper Max Gawn, finding solace amid their team's lacklustre prime time performance.
