AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan said the entertainment would be enjoyed by a range of fans, with the Las Vegas band producing music for all ages.

"I'm so pleased that The Killers have agreed to play on that one day in September as fans of all ages enjoy their music," McLachlan said.

Im will also be there on grand final day, as the 2016 Eurovision representative for Australia told the media she was honoured to be given the call-up.

"It's such an honour to be performing the national anthem at the AFL Grand Final, the biggest sporting event of the year," Im said.
