The AFL have revealed the full AFLX fixture, with the competition's inaugural series to be held next month between February 15-17.
All 18 teams will compete over three nights, with group matches to be played in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, with winners to be crowned at the end of each night.
The first official AFLX game will take place at Hindmarsh Stadium between Port Adelaide and Geelong, as the pair kick off a big weekend of football on Thursday, February 15.
Fremantle, Adelaide, West Coast and Collingwood will all participate that night, although fans will be unlikely to see a Showdown or a Western Derby on the night, as the Power and Crows are in different groups, while the Dockers and Eagles are also on different sides of the draw.
The only way a rivalry match can take place, is if both sides make the grand final, which will consist of the winners of Pot A and Pot B.
Carlton, Melbourne, North Melbourne, Hawthorn, Essendon and St Kilda will take centre stage on Friday night at Etihad Stadium.
Greater Western Sydney, Richmond, Brisbane Lions, Sydney, Western Bulldogs and Gold Coast will round out the AFLX experience on Saturday at Allianz Stadium.
Games consist of two 10-minute halves, and is seven-a-side with three players on the bench.
