North Melbourne's Luke McDonald will miss his side's clash with Essendon this weekend after the AFL Tribunal upheld his one-match ban.
McDonald was handed a one-match suspension for rough conduct on Adelaide's Chayce Jones on Saturday night, with the incident assessed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head.
The Roos' challenge has failed, meaning McDonald will be unavailable on Good Friday.
