On the back of booting six goals in Melbourne's win over Carlton on Sunday, forward Tom McDonald may have played his last game for the season after suffering a meniscus injury.

McDonald sat out the final quarter and was sent for scans on the injury, with Fox Sports journalist Julian de Stoop reporting the 26-year-old has torn his meniscus, which could see him miss the rest of the 2019 campaign.

McDonald has played all 15 games for the Dees so far this season, booting 18 goals and averaging 4.3 marks per contest.

MORE TO COME.
