Dockers axe Sutcliffe, Sheridan, Strnadica, Grey

Fremantle have confirmed four list changes, with Cameron Sutcliffe, Tommy Sheridan, Brady Grey and Luke Strnadica all informed the will not have their contracts renewed for the 2019 season.

Sutcliffe, Sheridan and Grey all took to social media on Sunday to confirm the news, while Strnadica joins the trio on the outgoings list after failing to make his AFL debut.

“Cameron played 100-plus games for the club, with the milestone being a testament to his work ethic and resilience. He was also a valuable contributor to the club’s first ever Grand Final team in 2013 and was Fremantle’s Player of the Finals in 2014,” Dockers CEO Steve Rosich told fremantlefc.com.au.

“Tommy always had a positive impact on the group and played a significant number of his 81 games for Fremantle during the club’s most successful era to date.

“Brady worked really hard to establish himself as an AFL player in his five seasons at the club and also made a valuable contribution via his assistant coaching roles with Fremantle’s AFLW team and the club’s Next Generation Academy.

“Luke is still in the early stages of his career and will continue to work hard on improving his ruck craft.

“We value what Cameron, Tommy, Brady and Luke have each done for the club. They are all fine young men and we thank them for their commitment and professionalism throughout their time at Fremantle, and we wish them all the best for the future.”
