Sydney midfielder Tom Mitchell has officially joined Hawthorn.
The two clubs agreed to a deal in principle for the onballer earlier in the week, with the official paperwork lodged on Friday.
The Hawks have traded picks 14 and 52 to Sydney for Mitchell and pick 57.
“We are pleased the deal could be finalised and Tom is able to join the Hawks," Hawthorn Recruiting and List Manager Graham Wright said.
“Tom has had a terrific year at the Swans and we look forward to welcoming him to the Hawks.
“We would like to thank Sydney for their professional approach in getting this deal done.”
Mitchell joined the Swans via a father-son selection (pick No.21) in the 2011 National Draft an played 63 games in the harbour city.
