GWS midfielder Tom Scully has broken his ankle and will undergo surgery on Sunday to repair the injury.
During the first quarter of the Giants' win over Collingwood on Saturday, Scully's ankle twisted under a tackle, and the winger was immediately in pain.
The 26-year-old could potentially miss the remainder of the 2018 season, which would be a big blow for the Giants.

โIt was one of those days. When Broomhead went down and then Scully went down 15 minutes later, I mean thatโs just footy. You canโt ever pick it,โ GWS coach Leon Cameron said after the win on Saturday.
โItโs just unfortunate. Itโs the tough part of our game.
โItโs disappointing because heโs worked so hard to get back over the last three or four weeks and then you play for 25 or 30 minutes and youโre out (again).โ
The full extent of Scully's time on the sidelines will be revealed following the surgery.
