Geelong youngster Quinton Narkle will make his AFL debut on Friday night against the Western Bulldogs, after coach Chris Scott confirmed Narkle's inclusion in a press conference on Wednesday morning.
Narkle was selected with the 60th pick in the 2016 National Draft, and was in line for a debut last season before suffering an ACL injury that derailed his 2017 campaign.
When announcing his inclusion, Scott told the media the club were surprised at how quickly Narkle adapted to life in the AFL.
"It was a little bit surprising how quickly his found his feet, we were prepared for him to take a little bit longer," Scott said.
The forward has played six VFL games for the Cats this season, and is averaging 20 disposals and two goals over the past month.
