Adelaide forward Josh Jenkins will likely spend another weekend on the sidelines after scans revealed the 28-year-old has a pair of cracked ribs.
Scans last weekend revealed the extent of the injury, after initial scans on the day of the incident failed to pick up on the injury.
The Crows forward is now in doubt for Adelaide's round five clash with the Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium, after he was already ruled out of their round four encounter with Essendon on Saturday night.
Jenkins suffered the rib injury early in Adelaide's round two win over Hawthorn at the MCG, after a mid-air collision with Hawks youngster Teia Miles.
Jenkins joins Adelaide forward Mitch McGovern on the sidelines, who is contemplating surgery after a serious hamstring injury suffered in the Showdown last weekend.
Troy Menzel has been brought in to replace McGovern, and despite their hot start to the season, Crows coach Don Pyke isn't buying into the hype just yet.
"For us, nothing has really changed," Pyke said.
"We have won three games which is ideally what you want at the start of the season, but we have identified areas where we want to keep getting better.
"For us it's the first step in a long season.
"We're certainly not sitting here going 'great start, we're happy with ourselves and happy with our life'.
"We can't stop people writing opinion about where they might project or where their opinion might sit as to where we may finish.
"That is the furthest thing from our mind."
