West Coast midfielder Luke Shuey has signed a four-year contract extension, keeping him at the Eagles until the end of the 2022 season.
Shuey, 27, who was already contracted for next season, looks set to remain a one-club player.
His signature is the first major re-signing since the AFLPA and the league yesterday finalised the details of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement.

โComing through the ranks as a younger player, you see guys at 26 or 27 sign four or five year-deals and you look on and think โGeez, theyโre oldโ. Thatโs me now.
โIโm getting to the back-half of my career, but hopefully weโve still got plenty of success ahead and some exciting years coming up.โ
General Manager of Football, Craig Vozzo, said the club is delighted to secure Shuey's signature.

Shuey has played 145 games for the Eagles since being selected with pick No.18 in the 2008 National Draft.
